Grow You Own Mint
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As we all know, mint is a natural product, so first of all, you will need to find the mint plant (1). It can be found in nature or it can be grown in your own garden*. For a thrilling and refreshing experience you can try rubbing some mint on the spot (2). After being done with that, you will need to get the mint leaves and let them dry in the sun (3). Once the leaves are dry (4) you are ready to start your mint rubbing session. As mentioned in an earlier guide, find a quiet, peaceful location and start rubbing your own mint (tm). Isn't this wonderful? Doesn't it give you a feeling of actually doing something useful? Remember to always dispose of the rubbed mint properly (6). Or use it for some tea. ![]() (*) while you're in the middle of nature searching for mint or in the garden, you can also cut some leaves to dogs (1A). ![]()
It is worthy to remember the good old story of the mexican fisherman who used to go out every morning in his rotten boat not far from the shore, catch a few fishes, sell them to the fishery and then end his day enjoying a tequila and chatting with his friends on a terrace. Someday a rich american friend started to teach him lessons about the benefits of capitalism and about ways of extending a business: "Well, if I were you, I would go out further from the shore, catch bigger fishes, make big time money and then buy a few boats, hire some youngsters to catch more fish and learn from your experience. Within a few years, you could have a whole fleet and your own fishery. And then, guess what? You can go out every evening, sit on a terrace, enjoy a tequila and talk nonsense with your friends." "Yes, but this is what I actually do" says our old mexican fisherman. This is my piece of advice dear mint rubbers: keep cool, keep your life simple, have peace in your heart and don't forget that blessed are the poor in spirit. Take care and never interrupt the beloved habit of mint rubbing.(Hans K. Storp) | ||||||||
