Letter from the editors
This month's issue of the Mint Rubbing Journal is an anniversary issue.
In June we celebrate half a year of uninterrupted quality online mint rubbing (tm). To celebrate this special occasion we have two very
special sections in the present issue that we would like to point out:
1. The Mint Rubbing Almanac - a downloadable archive containing all six issues of the journal published so far, as well as the entire RMRA
website, all of which you can download and browse offline |
2. A new section in the journal entitled RSR - Romanian Social Reform.In the current article we learn why Romanians are Europe's most skilled rubbers.
Actually, the journal slowly begins to take shape and find its identity. In
the current issue we once again have some of your favourite sections:
Romania - Heaven on Earth, Everything is Vanity, Featured Site of the Month,
Graphical Wisdom, Messages from fellow mint rubbers.
We also have some ground breaking materials about the mint rubing phenomenon
around the world, a practical guide about picking and growing your own mint
for rubbing, some multimedia mint rubbing materials, and so on.
Remember to send us your thoughts on mint rubbing, the RMRA webpage,
the journal or the almanac. You might want to know that we have turned down several offers for commercializing the RMRA webpage. Instead of going for an
easy buck, we decided to keep mint rubbing free and non-commercial, as it is supposed to be (you might have noticed the lack of commercials on the
RMRA webpage). Support mint rubbing by writing to us.

AMAZING! Now you can have all the essential mint rubbing information stored
on your hard disk for free. The Romanian Mint Rubbing Association officially announces the release
of the Mint Rubbing Almanac - a must-have tool for all mint rubbers in Romania and abroad. Destined to become a collector's item, the almanac is downloadable
and can be browsed in the privacy of your own home, without being on line. |
In the almanac you will find the entire content of the Mint Rubbing Journal's
six issues published so far. The materials are carefully
arranged by topic and destination, for easier access: articles and essays;
practical mint rubbing; graphical wisdom, and so on.
What's more, in the almanac you will also find the entire RMRA website
for you to access whenever you feel the urge.

to send it to your friends that don't have internet access - why should they
be deprived of the latest mint rubbing information and materials?
If our own mint rubbing will not prevent us from doing so, we will successfully
launch six more issues of the journal until the end of the year and we will
assemble an updated version of the almanac at that time.
