Letter from the editors
Spring is here and with it comes the joy and happiness of nature coming to life.
For the dedicated mint rubber, spring is an excellent opportunity to, well, do nothing of importance and rub some mint. And what better occasion to celebrate mint rubbing than
the 1st of May?
On this special occasion we present you with the fifth issue of the Mint Rubbing Journal, the world's most admired source of mint rubbing information.
|
We start this issue with a fascinating article about the importance of rubbing mint for the existence of the universe. We continue with such interesting topics as Romania - Heaven on
Earth, The Establishment and the Mint Rubbers and Mint Rubbing - A new Theory. We also have some interesting information about a leading provider of mint rubbing accessories, as well as historical information
on the evolution of the RMRA banners. Last, but not least, we have our regular columns
(featured site, RMRA on the net) and much, much more.
Do you think you can contribute to the mint rubbnig movement? Do you have something to tell the RMRA? Perhaps a mint rubbing experience or custom, an opinion on one of the articles or pretty much anything else?

Mint Rubbing and the Universe
Don't have time to eat, drink, sleep, watch, listen, go to, meet with, do, etc. Sounds familiar? How many times have you thought you really wanted to do something only to discover you don't have the time to.
(Notice: read this entire article and only after you have finished doing so, start applying the wonderful wisdom contained within). A whole lot of things postponed endlessly, never being accomplished but still being wanted.

Priority. The word pops into your mind. Maybe you haven't done all these things because they're not that important or else they would have been on top of your priority list. You may also think your work comes first and fun or
whatever else is left comes last. You can go on like this forever but still you will end up not doing what you wanted and comforting yourself once again with an easy answer - "don't have the time to." (but never thinking of why this really happens).
As always you try to find the answer at the other end of the Universe when it's right under your nose.
The answer si really very simple: you're using your time at a much faster rate than it's been given to you.
Think about it. Normal usage of your time would allow you to do everything you want but you're using up your time much faster than you should be.
This should be fine by me and everyone else, in fact it's your time, use it as fast or as slow as you want to. But it's not that simple.
|
If everyone starts using their time faster than they should, then all people will run out of
time and the whole Universe will run out of time. Don't even want to think of what this means.
This is where mint rubbing, again, helps, not only you, but all of mankind and the Universe itself.
By rubbing mint one slows done the rate at which he's using up his time and not only his.
What this means is that as long as there is just one person rubbing mint, there still is hope and we're not running out of time.
So, stop whatever you're doing (you're reading this but don't stop now, as this means I wrote the rest of the article for myself -
no need on doing so because I know what it's about) and start rubbing mint. Maybe you're the last one to rub mint and maybe the entire Universe is at your mint rubbing mercy. Don't think too much about it; read on and start doing the right thing.
Don't even think of time management or time trading plans - it won't work. Who in their right mind would give up their time just because you're using yours much faster than you should be? Get real: this is not an option. Don't look for other
answers because there aren't any. If you don't believe me, go ahead start looking for answers, but think about this: mint rubbing is an age old practice and we still have Life, the Universe and Everything. Do you think this is a chance worth taking?
Next time when you stop rubbing mint, think twice about it. (The Mintman, April 2K1)
