if you don't already know this site, you've been missing some really funny stuff, just as we did until mi5hu sent us the link. start with cearta and la redactie. these guys also have an album out - we checked it out and it's damn sweet. [in romanian only].
- 220.ro - if there is online mint to rub, then 220.ro has plenty of it. a neat little site with regular doses of mint for rubbing to keep you going through long and boring days at the office [in romanian only].
- lumea lui naspa rau - from time to time promising sites appear on the romanian world wide web. this is one of them. check it out from time to time hopefully updates will not stop in a couple of weeks, as it usually happens with new sites [in romanian only].
- subservient chicken - a subservient chicken is a chicken that accepts user commands submitted over the web, and executes them to the best of its ability. time well spent.
- tetris1d - before there was tetris (the regular 2 dimensions variety) and tetris3d, there was tetris1d - the tetris game in only one dimension. recommended for beginners.
- electrizeazapisica.go.ro - an alternative way of producing electricity. it's clean, it's safe and it's scientifically proven. includes step by step tutorial and scientific explanation. [in romanian only]
- babies with beards - "your window to the world of bearded babies". enough said.
- amenda.ro - if you have ever been bothered by traffic cops then you need to know there are legal ways to fight back. this site provides useful public service information that every driver should know. [in romanian only]
- book-a-minute - stop wasting time with reading. this site provides ultra-condensed versions of popular books that require hundreds of times less intelectual effort to read.

althought you might not know it, we keep track of all of our referral sites. here we will discuss new referrals found in the past four months.
first, we were blessed to be linked by a bunch of sites that directed a whole lot of traffic to mintrubbing.org. the sites are metafilter.com and zfilter.com - thanks guys.
a lot of other good sites quickly caught on and followed their example. referrals ranged form a south african radio station to a canadian tech site (the latter having this to say: "Nadia Comaneci is not the only contribution that Romania has made to mankind. Mint rubbing is even bigger. Feeling low? Why not rub some mint?").

curiously enough, someone decided to challenge our save the robots campaign:
-"How do I know that this whole camapain isn't just a test to see how
many people can be easily mind controlled using some sci-fi bullshit. Can you please tell me where to find more information about existing intelligent robots and the actions taken against them. Anyway, I am a little sceptic right now, but with some proof, I might change my mind, thank you." (matei).
what can we say? some people always see michief and trickery in even the most selfless actions. we pity them and hope that some day they too will learn about the plight of the robots.
some people try to promote their sites through mintrubbing.org and send us messages about how wonderful these sites are, in an attempt to find a shortcut to our "featured sites of the month" list. our policy on this issue is this: if you have a good romanian site, then chances are we'll discover it on our own and feature it in the mint rubbing journal. if you think your site is really good, you can send us a message, but don't expect to see it in the journal unless we decide it deserves to be there. sites can always be advertised on the rmra forum, though. no problems there.

ok, we dug through the rmra forum posts of the past four months and came up with these two little gems:
