Welcome dear web surfer,
Stay for a while and take a rest. You must be tired after surfing the web for so many hours. Just clear your mind and do nothing for a while - there's nothing much in the journal this month anyway. As you've probably heard by now, Christmas will be here pretty soon this year (December 25), followed by New Year's Eve on December 31. Since everyone will be busy celebrating, sleeping or doing similar crazy stuff, we figured we wouldn't spend too many resources for this month's update.
Nevertheless,
do not loose your faith in us. Yes, we rub mint, but we rub it in style: we've been working hard to bring you some really good updates in January and February. As usual, we can't release any info yet, but the next two updates are going to be pretty weird. So stay tuned for that. In the meantime, what we managed to do for this month is translate the pages on the main mintrubbing.org site into Romanian. This follows a number of requests that we have received from some of our readers. Click on the picture on the left to access the Romanian version of the site (page opens in new window).
Please note that the Romanian version of the site does not feature the Mint Rubbing Journal archive; also, the Romanian version will not be updated. Therefore, just keep an eye on the main English version site at http://mintrubbing.org for future updates. The stripped-down Romanian version is only provided as a reference for non-english speaking Romanian readers.
A group of researchers affiliated with our association has uncovered clear evidence of the existence of Santa Claus. The precise location of Santa's workshop and house has been found at exit 88, on the appropriately named Santa Claus Lane.
If Santa accidentally forgot to give you a gift last year take matters into your own hands and pay him a visit. I'm sure he can turn "naughty" into "nice" on his list after a couple of hours of torture.
But, hey, what am I saying? I bet every single one of our readers has been nice and has rubbed their mint all year long like good little boys and girls. So pay Santa a visit anyway and say Hi. Tours of his workshop are available for a small fee (please do not pet of feed the elves). Santa also has a well stocked souvenir shop, so you can buy your gift yourself.
Next, a couple of interesting tips posted by users on the RMRA forum:
2. hi i work at an ISP and most of the time althou we rub a lot of mint in the office like, when installing a program we make sure it takes up most of the day and never takes out time out of lunch .... and so and so (i do have some other aces up my sleeve) i found the internet out of order page to be the greatest thing ever you click on it you press F11 and you say its a joke if someone knows its fake or say that your internet is temporarily unavailable.
3. Hi WF! Check this attachment, you may want to include it in your next issue of RMRA journal. (Andy)
