Mintrubbing.org announces difficulties with latest issue of Mint Rubbing Journal
Monday August 25, 1:00 pm GMT
August 25, 2003 - Mintrubbing.org, the online division of the Romanian Mint Rubbing Association ("RMRA"), announced today that it would not be able to finalize the latest issue of its publication, the Mint Rubbing Journal ("MRJ"). "In the entire history of our organization we have never experienced a disturbance of such magnitude" said William Foster, President of RMRA. The organization, established in December 2000, is a leading provider of information on mint rubbing and related life management techniques. RMRA is best known for its online division, mintrubbing.org, and its monthly publication, MRJ. "We strive to offer the highest quality content to our users. Unfortunately, these high standards of quality could not be met this month", said Foster.
According to the association's President, all activities have been halted. "What we are seeing are organized attacks carried out against our organization by giant snails. The gastropods, which reach up to 7 feet in height, have started harassing our staff, and wrecking our offices and means of transportation. These actions have effectively halted our operations for the time being.
We expected something like this to happen at some point, but these attacks have taken us by surprise. We are working with local and regional authorities to find a quick solution to this problem", said Foster.
