letter from the editors

sep 20X2 - ok. i know you've all been waiting for this. i know you're all pissed off by last month's sorry excuse for a mint rubbing journal. but now we're back. and hopefully you'll be pleased with this issue. 'coz we have some damn good articles. and more stuff about the world-famous laizy-lad. some cool featured sites. and lots of other junk for your mintrubbing pleasure.

one more thing you should know about: mintrubbing.org takes part once again in the internetics webpage contest. i don't know if that's a good thing or not. last year we got nominated in the most unconventional website category. people present at the ceremony appreciated our work. still, the prize went to a pretty lame site. so, we'll see what happens this year.

in related news, we're pleased to notice that the mint rubbing phenomenon has attracted worldwide following in the past couple of weeks. a few of the web's finer sites have linked to us in august and september, so we got the attention that we deserved. read about this in the following pages.

also read about the coolest message of the month contest, launched in this issue. just write a cool message on the rmra forum and you could be the winner! give us a couple of minutes of your brain output and get the chance to be featured in next month's issue. details about this thing can be found somwehere in this issue of the journal.

anyway, remember that this site is more than just plain, vanilla-flavored mint rubbing. it's a place for having fun, learning and experimenting with new ideas (and for rubbing mint, naturally). if you think you can contribute to that, well... just do it. send us a message. our friendly and dedicated staff reads and answers all messages.

take it easy,
