First,
God made the earth. Then, God created the rivers and the ocean. Then, He created light.
And then, He started to rub the mint. And He liked it
because it felt good. So, He made the first man. Not
because He had a special need to populate the newborn
planet, but because He needed someone to rub the mint
with.
The first man was called "The Mint Rubber". He was a
skinny little fellow with big eyes and long arms that
ended with a couple of huge hands made especially for
the complex work that was the mint rubbing.
God put him in a garden that He created for His
beloved Rubber. It was beautiful. Mint was everywhere.
Just for him. There was enough mint to rub for all the
6 billion people that inhabit the earth right now.
So, our little newborn creature started to rub the
mint. And God rubbed it with him. That's what God did
all the 7th day. Then, He started to make plans of all
sorts regarding the planet and He forgot all about the
mint and the little mint rubber.

The little one felt neglected and, one day, he called
God and asked Him to give him a companion, someone to
rub the mint with. God agreed and He made a little
girl with skin that was almost green. She was made out
of a little mint leaf. She was perfect. Cut out
exactly for the mint rubbing. She was called "The
Rubbette".
Minty fell for her right away. She could rub that mint
like no other. She liked him too because of his big
hands and his minty smell.
All day long they would rub mint and drown into each
other's pepper mint eyes.
But one day, she saw a strange but very attractive
flame burning under a mint plant. She went closer and
closer `til she felt its warmth. It was the most
useless thing she had ever seen. It was even more
useless then the mint. So she just laid there and
burnt that gas until Rubber appeared looking for her.
He was fascinated of the girl's discovery. She invited
him to burn the gas with her but he said no at first.
Then, the blue flame started to change into yellow and
orange because of the low pressure that can only be
encountered in a little almost invisible country
called Romania that God made out of all the junk that
He took out of the other countries. The temptation was
too big, so he started to burn the gas too. They stood
there for hours and hours burning that gas. It felt so
good that they didn't realize that they had burnt down
all the mint. A nice refreshing minty smell was in the
air and so they discovered the perfect combination:
burning the gas while rubbing the mint. They were so
high on mint when God came along, that they started to
laugh in His face when He kicked them in the rear and
punished them to live their life in Romania.

After a while it wore off and they found themselves in
a much bigger Mint Garden with a weird name. Romania.
So they called it Romanian Mint. It was even better
than the heavenly mint.
After a while, they started to cut leaves to the dogs
that populated a big junky city called Bucharest. And
when they combined the mint with the gas and the
leaves they were able to see God smoking some kind of
grass but it seemed too complicated for them. They
just kept on rubbing and burning and cutting and after
a while, out of all that work, little mint rubbers and
mint rubbettes were born. Little by little, they
invaded the Romanian Mint. Some of them even traveled
to other countries where they taught the art of mint
rubbing. Now they threaten to take over the Earth and
I think that in a few years the whole world will look
like a mint leaf.
Well.what are you waiting for? A special invitation?
Go rub that mint!!! Don't waste your time.mint rubbing
is the only thing that can make your brain cell
multiply.so.you'll be able to get rid of that nasty
loneliness inside your head. (andreea)
